§ Mr. Allan Rogersasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will initiate an immediate 385W investigation into the conduct of those drug field trials in south Wales where participating medical practitioners are receiving payments of £150 per patient, patients are not informed that they are participating in a trial and doctors are, without permission signing consent forms in the names of patients.
§ Mr. HayhoeThe hon. Member's question does not supply sufficient information to enable me to identify the particular trials to which he refers. If the hon. Member is able to let me have more information about the trials, either I or my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales will be glad to consider it.
