§ Mr. EggarYes. The aim of the Contadora peace process is to reach a comprehensive negotiated and verifiable settlement of tensions in Central America. The draft Contadora Act includes an undertaking to end cross-border violations and subversion and makes provision for mechanisms to monitor infringements of the agreement once signed.
