§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will publish the relative export 257W price of United Kingdom manufactures each year compared with German export prices for manufactures based on 1976=100 together with the change in the nominal exchange rate since the last year for which relative export prices are available.
§ Mr. Alan Clark[pursuant to his reply, 2 May 1986, c. 523]: In March 1986 the nominal sterling/deutschmark exchange rate was 14 per cent. higher than the average rate for 1984. The relative export prices are in the following table.
