§ Mr. John Carlisleasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if, pursuant to his answer of 27 March, Official Report, columns 560–1, on the expected response from Bedfordshire local education authority on the further education of Donna de Groot and Stuart Ford, he has received any further information.
§ Mr. Chris PattenA response to the Department's inquiries about further education provision for these two young people was received from Bedfordshire local education authority on 4 April. Cases of this kind raise difficult issues on which specialist guidance has to be sought before a conclusion can be reached, but the Department will complete its examination of the information provided as quickly as possible.
