§ Mr. GummerThe disease Bonamia has recently been found in oyster beds at Poole harbour and in the Solent area and all holders of licences permitted to deposit molluscan shellfish from these areas have been notified. My officials recently met representatives of the Shellfish Association of Great Britain and the Southern Sea Fisheries Committee to discuss the present situation and are now urgently reviewing all aspects of policy on Bonamia.
