§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will publish the total costs to date of the survey of the ethnic origin of civil servants.

The information on the costs of these surveys is not kept centrally but when the programme of surveys, announced on 28 January 1985 was being considered by the Government it was estimated that the total cost would be in the region of £375,000.
