§ Mr. Frank Cookasked the Paymaster General where information is to be obtained on the procedures for licensing the three forms of radioactive waste storage repositories proposed by the Nuclear Industry Radioactive Waste Executive, namely (a) above ground storage, (b) near surface subterranean storage and (c) deep cavity subterranean storage; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. TrippierThe Nuclear Installations Inspectorate will in due course publish its guidelines for licensing these sites. They will be available on request from the Inspectorate.
