HC Deb 26 March 1986 vol 94 cc481-2W
Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

asked the Paymaster General if, pursuant to the answer of 21 March, Official Report, column 315, the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service has now received any request to offer its services in negotiations to obtain a settlement in the

adjustment for each additional 1 percentage point increase over the forecast rate of growth of traffic; and to achieve not less than 3.15 terminal passengers handled per payroll hour in 1986–87.

The targets are intended to operate for one year only.

The financial target takes into account the increases in airport charges which have been notified to the airlines by the authority. The target and performance aims complete the normal framework of financial controls which will remain in place whilst the authority or its successor company remains within the public sector.
