§ Mr. WhitneyThe Department has awarded a three-year grant to the Association of Carers amounting to £25,000 for each of the three years 1985–86, 1986–87 and 1987–88 as a contribution towards its central adminstrative costs.
§ Mr. Roweasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when the Association of Carers was informed of its grant allocation for the financial year 1985–86.
§ Mr. WhitneyThe letter informing the Association of Carers of the award of the grant for 1985–86, 1986–87 and 1987–88 was issued on 14 March. Three interim payments of £5,000 each were made in May, September and December 1985.
