§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will estimate the cost of reducing the standard rate of income tax to 25 per cent. and if he will make a statement;
(2) if he will estimate the cost of raising personal tax allowances by 10 per cent., 20 per cent. and 30 per cent., respectively; and if he will make a statement.
