§ Mr. Alan Clark[pursuant to his reply, 24 March 1986]: I and my colleagues encourage all buyers — companies, individual consumers and the public sector—to look carefully at the advantages of buying British goods which are well designed, well-made and competitively priced. Much of my Department's work helps British manufacturers meet these requirements. In addition, we are looking at what further steps can be taken in this field.
