What was the official and unofficial British representation at the high level conference organised by the United States Government in Brussels from 6th to 8th February on COCOM, SDI, etc.
§ The Minister of State for Defence Support (Lord Trefgarne)A conference of "High Technology, Security and Economic Growth: An Agenda for the Future" was held in Brussels from 6th to 8th February. United Kingdom official representation included an official from the Ministry of Defence. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the United Kingdom delegation to NATO and the Department of Trade 1389WA and Industry were also represented. I understand there was a wide variety of British participants from international organisations, academic institutions, the media, SERC, industry and commerce, and Parliament. United Kingdom personnel in NATO international posts were also present.
