§ Mr. GummerThe value of grain exported from the United Kingdom in the period April 1984 to March 1985 was £637 million. The value of grain exported from April 1985 to the end of January 1986 was £434 million. Comparable data for grain retained for home consumption are not available. Information on the value of total cereals output is, however, set out in table 22 of the annual review of agriculturue White Paper (Cmnd. 9708).
