§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThis recommendation appears in my Department's own report, which was one of a number of such studies undertaken as part of the multidepartmental review. We will be considering the specific recommendations in the report in the light of those made by the central team when its report is also issued. A statement of the aims of the Department of Employment Group already appears in the latest public expenditure survey White Paper and I am considering whether to develop a further statement of departmental objectives.
