asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, further to his reply to the hon. Member for Chislehurst of 13 March 1986, he will introduce legislation similar to the Tobacco Products (Control of Advertising, Sponsorship and Sales Promotion) Regulations 1986 which come into force in Eire on 1 July; and if he will make a statement.

I hope to reach agreement with the tobacco industry during the renegotiation of the voluntary agreement on sports sponsorship.
