§ Mr. LeeThe Ministry of Defence owns or leases approximately 26,500 acres of land in Lincolnshire and South Humberside. The principal sites are:

There are 681 acres at Cranwell, 140 acres at Theddlethorpe, 64 married quarters at Binbrook, 79 married quarters at Nocton hall and 76 married quarters at Waddington with the Property Services Agency for disposal. No further major disposals are planned in Lincolnshire, but Fulbeck is one of four sites under consideration by NIREX for the disposal of low level nuclear waste. At this stage they ony have a licence for exploratory drilling.
