§ Mr. Harveyasked the Secretary of State for Wales what arrangements he proposes to make for the operation in Wales of the grants provided for by section 108 of the Transport Act 1985; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Wyn Roberts£100,000 is to be made available for these grants in 1986–87. This will be used to assist in the establishment, continuance or improvement of any public passenger transport project for the benefit of persons residing in rural areas in Wales. The particular conditions of the grant scheme—which were established in consultations with local authorities in Wales—are set out in the grant memorandum a copy of which I have placed in the Library of the House.
