§ Mr. TraceyPrivate motor vehicles are permitted to pass through the royal parks on those parks roads which are open to the public. There are such parks roads in Hyde park, St. James's, Green, Regent's, Greenwich, Richmond and Bushy park. There are no parks roads in Kensington gardens.
Apart from official journeys made by parks personnel, private vehicles are not allowed to pass through, unless they have specific and necessary business in the park. These could include building and maintenance contractors, delivery and service vehicles, catering and other parks concessionaries employees. The disabled are also permitted vehicle access in certain circumstances.
