Urban Programme To benefit deprived urban areas 19.400
Clean Air To encourage and assist the reduction of emissions of smoke from domestic chimneys 0.150
Civil Defence To encourage an even and consistent level of civil defence provision 1.800
Police Reflects the Secretary of State's national responsibility for the maintenance of Law and Order 138.700
Housing Improvement and Repair To improve houses which fall below tolerable standard, lack one or more standard amenities and/or are in need of repair 60.551
Additional Teachers in Urban Areas of Special Social Need To allocate extra resources to the staffing of schools serving deprived urban areas and also schools in urban areas with a substantial proportion of ethnic minority children 3.600
Community Services Facilities To establish community service schemes for offenders as an alternative to custodial sentence 1.400
