asked the Secretary of State for Transport what recent representations he has received about the future of the scheduling committees at Heathrow and Gatwick; and if he will make a statement.

I have recently received representations from several sources, including hon. Members of the House and a variety of civil aviation interests. For the most part they have paid credit to the efficient operation of the airport scheduling committees. I associate myself with that view.
