§ Mr. Sternasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will state the number of cases in the last five years of which he is aware in which disciplinary proceedings against a member of the armed forces led, wholly or partially, to the deprivation of pension rights.
§ Mr. LeeSeparate statistics are not maintained. However, I am aware of 11 cases in the period 1981 to 1985 inclusive in which pensions due for immediate payment have been forfeited or reduced below the rates applicable to normal or premature retirement.
