asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will indicate for the years 1975 to 1985 the total aid granted for projects in Devon and Cornwall separately by the European Community under the European regional development fund.

ERDF awards to industrial projects are the responsibility of the Department of Trade and Industry. Accurate annual records are not available. Since 1975, however, a total of £5.9 million has been awarded fo industrial projects in the south-west; about £4.4 million to Devon and about £1.5 million to Cornwall.
