§ Mr. GummerCertain maximum residue levels for pesticides on fruit and vegetables have been adopted by the European Community and these have been notified to food and drugs authorities in the United Kingdom as presumptive standards under the Food Acts. Proposals for maximum residue limits for certain pesticides on cereals and on foodstuffs of animal origin are still under discussion in the Community.
