It is regarded as "toxic" for the purposes of supply and use under the Classification, Packaging and Labelling Regulations 1984 and packages must be marked with a number of appropriate risk and safety phrases. No further labelling is required for transport purposes but tank vehicles carrying the substance in solution should display a full hazard warning panel with the "harmful" diamond and the toxic liquid mixture identification number 2810.
