Mr. Caborn

asked the Prime Minister whether she has agreed a date and venue with the Commonwealth Secretary-General and the Heads of Government of Zambia, Australia, the Bahamas, Canada, India, the United Kingdom and Zimbabwe for the meeting envisaged in paragraph seven of the Commonwealth accord on southern Africa adopted in October 1985.

No. The review referred to in the Commonwealth accord will take place in the context of developments in South Africa and the work of the group of eminent persons which is currently visiting South Africa.
