§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to the reply of 26 February, Official Report, column 614, if he will now publish all the information and representations he has received concerning Shropshire health authority's proposed closure of the Oswestry and district hospital casualty department.
§ Mr. HayhoeThe Department has received the Shropshire health authority's consultation document, papers summarising all the views and objections to the proposals, together with health authority's response, and details of all the bodies and individuals who submitted views. All these papers were considered at public meetings of the Shropshire health authority and the West Midlands regional health authority, and are thus public documents. I have also received representations from the local medical committee and my right hon. Friend the Member for Shropshire, North (Mr. Biffen).
