§ Mr. DunnThe Department is not currently funding research which considers the differences in these respects between selective and non-selective schools. However, as my right hon. Friend announced in the House on 14 November 1984, at column 697, he is considering a number of proposals for wider ranging research into the factors affecting performance in schools including the organisation of the schools, along with other factors.
