§ Mr. Corbettasked the Attorney-General if he will publish in the Official Report those cases, by title and trial result date since the passing of the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 1976, in which rape and murder charges have been tried in one trial, giving the number of defendants on each charge at each trial and specifying in which trials judges have (a) been requested to make and (b) have made directions under section 6(2)(a) of that Act.
