§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what is the total amount of agricultural spending by the EEC which is permitted in terms of the strict budgetary controls agreed at the European Council; and what estimate has been made by the Commission of the likely expenditure in 1986 if its farm prices and other agricultural measures are agreed;
(2) what steps he is taking to inform hon. Members of the detailed proposals in the 1986 farm price review of the EEC before the debate on the subject which is to take place on Monday 10 March; and if he will make a statement.
