§ Mr. GummerI am not aware of any proposal to change the current arrangements for monthly collection of co-responsibility levy. The Commission has, however, proposed six monthly collection of the supplementary levy, which is currently collected on an annual basis, as part of the 1986–87 price proposals. We are still considering the proposal in detail, but my initial view is that although it might cause some difficulties, it could well reduce the risk of exceeding quota in the Community as a whole.
