§ Mr. EggarWe have received no representations from the Government of India about the use of British aid funds for the purchase of military equipment by the Government of Sir Lanka. Nor would we expect to. British aid is not used for the supply of military equipment to Sri Lanka, nor is there any credit arrangement between our two Governments for arms purchases.
