§ Mr Mark RobinsonThe performance of the two privately run subsidiary renal units which provide a service to district health authorities in Wales is the subject of an evaluation study by Professor William Asscher, professor of renal medicine at the University of Wales college of medicine. Whilst the evaluation has not yet been completed, the indications are that the units are operating effectively and providing a real benefit to patients.
