§ Mr. David MitchellThe Government are always willing to encourage ways in which energy efficiency can contribute to overall economic efficiency in their discussions with local authorities and others on major investment projects. The Energy Efficiency Office of the Department of Energy, with my Department's support, is undertaking a study with the industry into energy use by bus and coach operators. This will provide guidance on energy efficiency which will be applicable to both the public and private sector.
