§ Mr. Peter MorrisonWhen the formation of United Engineering Steels (the owners of Brymbo Steelworks) was announced, the Government stated that they had approved the provision of funds for BSC to subscribe £55 million for preference shares and loans stock in the new company, on the understanding that the company would undertake further investments. Decisions on the location of new investment projects at UES plants are of course matters for the UES board.
