HL Deb 30 June 1986 vol 477 cc741-2WA
Lord Kennet

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will now list the proposals relating to arms control and disarmament, nuclear safety, space, etc. made by the Soviet Union and their responses and those of NATO.

The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Baroness Young)

It would be impracticable to produce such a list, both because of the range of issues involved and because important Soviet proposals have been tabled in confidential negotiations, to some of which the United Kingdom is not a party.
