§ Sir George YoungI look forward to a greatly increased involvement by the private sector in solving the present problems of disrepair in public housing. The private sector already has the predominant role in dealing with disrepair in private housing. Levels of public expenditure for 1987–88 will be decided and announced in the usual way.
