asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will consider the appointment of a representative of the Country Landowners Association to the committee which is to co-ordinate the United Kingdom participation in the European environment.

Mr. John Norris, president of the Country Landowners' Association, has been appointed to the United Kingdom's national committee for European Year of the Environment.
