§ The Earl of SwintonThe social and economic effects of any possible closures of veterinary schools and the geographic distribution and availability of farm animal species for teaching and research purposes are among the factors to be taken into account by the UGC working party which is currently examining the scope for the rationalisation of veterinary education. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons is represented on the Working Party.
