§ Mr. PattieThe Manchester and Glasgow experiment in film releasing ended on 29 May. The experiment was conducted by the Office of Fair Trading at the request of my hon. Friend the then Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State who is responsible for corporate and consumer affairs. The Director General of Fair Trading has been asked to report on the results of the experiment as soon as possible.
