Friend hopes to meet the Soviet Minister for Foreign Trade, Mr. Aristov, in October if he comes, as invited, to the 70th Anniversary of the British-Soviet chamber of commerce. In any case, I would expect to hold discussions about increasing trade with the USSR with Mr. Aristov at the next session of the Joint Commission in 1987.
