§ Mr. Boyesasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what discussions he has with the European Commission as to the extent to which the proposed water services plcs will be accepted as competent authorities for the purpose of the relevant EEC directives; and if he will make a statement;
(2) how many homes had their own water supplies cut off by water authorities in 1985; and for how long, in each year from 1979 to 1986 and to the latest available date.
