The numbers of dwellings completed for local authorities in Great Britain in the years up to 1984 are in Table 6.1(d) of Housing and Construction Statistics, 1974–1984 and the provisional figures for 1985 appears in Table 1.2(d) in issue number 24 of the quarterly Housing and Construction Statistics. Copies of both publications are in the Library.
