HC Deb 12 June 1986 vol 99 c299W
Mr. Raynsford

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list the total budget provision for the Riverside health area in each year for 1985–86 and 1986–87 and for the future years for which figures are available; and if he will list the number of hospital beds which will be lost over this period in each hospital within the area.

Mr. Whitney

Revenue allocations to district health authorities are made annually by the relevant regional health authority. The North-West Thames RHA's revenue allocation to Riverside health authority for 1985–86 was £120,192,000. and for 1986–87 is £128,089,000. Allocations have not yet been made for future years.

The Department does not hold information on the number of hospital beds lost for the period specified, and the hon. Member may wish to approach the Riverside health authority direct on this point.
