§ Mr. Kenneth BakerYes. Subject to parliamentary approval of the necessary Supplementary and Revised Estimates, the 1986–87 cash limit for class XII, vote 8, will be increased by £2 million from £313,529,000 to £315,529,000 and that for class XII, vote 3, will be reduced by £2 million from £1,564,274,000 to £1,562,274,000. There will therefore be no increase to the planned total of public expenditure. This transfer has been agreed in order to facilitate the purchase of advanced computers for research programmes in the higher and further education
