§ Mr. Snapeasked the Secretary of State for Transport (1) if his Department has received copies of the police reports of the heavy goods vehicle accidents at Maidstone on 20 May, Manchester on 27 May and Cadmore End, Buckinghamshire on 24 May;
(2) if his Department's inspectors have examined the heavy goods vehicles involved in the fatal accidents at Maidstone on 20 May, Manchester on 27 May and Cadmore End, Buckinghamshire on 24 May.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyVehicle examiners from the Department have carried out detailed examinations of the heavy goods vehicles involved in these accidents. Police reports have been requested and will be forwarded to the Department on completion.
