§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list the perinatal mortality rates for 1984 for babies weighing (a) under 1,500 g, (b) 1,500 to 2,499 g, (c) 2,500 g plus and (d) babies with unstated birthweight in England and each regional and district health authority.
§ Mr. WhitneyTables giving the perinatal mortality rates (stillbirths and deaths in the first week of life per 1,000 total live and stillbirths) for England and the regional and district health authorities for 1984 have been placed in the Library. Many of the perinatal mortality rates for the district health authorities are based on very small numbers and are liable to chance variation.
