§ Mr. Jesselasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list the dates for the stages in the procedure for the forthcoming appointment of a permanent consultant in the casualty department of the West Middlesex hospital; if he will ask the North West Thames regional health authority to hasten the appointment and if he will review the possibility of an appointment of a senior registrar; if he will make a statement on the establishment, the actual staffing recently and expected in the near future; and what action is being taken to provide emergency services.
§ Mr. HayhoeStrenuous efforts are being made to fill the vacancies in this accident and emergency department and I understand that the chairman of the Hounslow and Spelthorne health authority is keeping my hon. Friend informed about the detailed action being taken.
