HC Deb 09 June 1986 vol 99 c16W
Mr. Cohen

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment for what period of time the lease between the Property Services Agency and the London Residuary Body for the office space in St. Vincent house is valid; how much will be paid yearly by the London Residuary Body in rent for the five years after April 1987; what is the square footage of the office space rented; what is the total cost per year to the Property Services Agency of maintaining St. Vincent house; and what options are available in the lease for extending the time of the lease or the area of office space.

Sir George Young

The London Residuary Body is occupaying some 5,389 sq ft of St. Vicent house. The terms of lease for its occupation have not yet been finalised. I expect this matter will be concluded shortly. It is not normally the practice, for reasons of commercial confidentiality, to disclose the terms of such agreements.
