asked the Minister for the Arts what representations he has received about (i) the simplification of language in the Copyright Act 1956 and (ii) the rights of portrait photographers; and if he will make a statement.

Responsibility for copyright lies with the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry. I have not received any representations on either matter.
