§ Sir George YoungThe maintenance of the pedestrian subway under Bridge street is, since the abolition of the GLC, the sole responsibility of Westminster city council.
Day to day maintenance currently consists of an early morning clean and additional afternoon sweeping. Performance of this task is kept under review in regular meetings between the Council and the Property Services Agency.
